In 2023 Rural Energy for America Program Funded More Renewables Projects Overall, But Small-Scale Funding Was Down

Part of the reasons were that new stipulations in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), allowed for a larger percentage of projects to be funded via grants putting big solar investments in the lead.
