Andy Adams
Chief Digital & Communications Officer
Andy oversees the creative direction, design, and execution of Outrider's communications projects. Since 2015, he has managed the foundation’s brand strategy, digital channels, marketing, and public relations. He also directs Outrider’s website operations and publishes its biweekly newsletter.
He works closely with Outrider’s team and its partners to develop editorial, interactive, and multimedia projects, including “When the Earth Moves,” a short film honoring the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and Outrider’s nuclear bomb blast simulator, which has received over 13 million views across 206 countries.
Andy is also a writer and curator who has organized photography exhibitions and public programs at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Australian Centre for Photography, the RISD Museum of Art, and the James Watrous Gallery. Since 2018, he has served on the curatorial board at the Arts + Literature Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin.
In his spare time, he runs FlakPhoto Projects, a community hub focused on conversations about photography and visual culture.
